High Vis work clothing with the safety standard EN ISO 20471 is designed with the idea that you should be visible when it is dark or visibility is reduced for another reason. In all these situations, however, it is assumed that there is still some light that the reflection bands can reflect. However, that won't help if there is no light at all.
