S7 technologies
To make the work shoes as waterproof as possible, S7 work boots use various technologies
- Goretex- Goretex is a large international producer of waterproof and breathable materials, you often find it in work shoes and work boots. The combination of the moisture-wicking material that pushes water out but does not let it in ensures dry comfort all day long.
- Helly Tech Waterproof Membrane- A membrane designed by Helly Hansen's own technology, incorporated into their work shoes together with various breathable linings, ensures a waterproof work shoe
- HDry- HDry from Sixton is a kind of sock membrane built into the work shoe or boot. This keeps the water out and drains the moisture to the outer layers
Maintain S7 Work Shoes
Maintaining S7 work shoes is the same as other types of work shoes, what is important to take into account is the breathable function of, for example, Goretex. For example, leather grease reduces the breathability of leather work shoes with waterproof materials, so it is best to use leather gel. Furthermore, the maintenance is the same. For work shoes with a fabric outer fabric, you can simply use waterproof spray after cleaning.
