A high trainer, leather shoe or safety boot
The high footwear range includes textile trainers, leather work shoes and safety boots. Textile styles may have a mesh lining; in leather models, the inside varies from mesh to a membrane or synthetic fur lining. If you prefer a lower collar, take a look at low Herock safety shoes.
Examples of this variety include the high Leno with flyknit textile and Talin High with water-repellent leather. Their uppers differ, even though both rise higher around the ankle.
Waterproof styles with HYDROSHIELD
HYDROSHIELD is the waterproof membrane Herock uses in several footwear models. Heron and Icarus are examples; Victus also has this membrane construction. It is not exclusive to one model, but neither is it a standard feature of every high shoe. Water-repellent leather without this construction is a different option.
In Heron, Herock combines the membrane with leather, a padded collar and a PU scuff cap. This model has an S7S classification. The safety class and markings remain features of the selected model, not simply of its shaft height.
Lined boots for colder working days
A synthetic fur lining is a separate choice alongside water protection. Icarus, for example, is a full-grain leather safety boot with HYDROSHIELD and a polyester synthetic fur lining. This construction differs from a high shoe with a mesh lining. Not every lined boot automatically has the same membrane or safety class.
How the sole is constructed
There are also different constructions underfoot: PU/PU, EVA with rubber, and PU with rubber. The high Aris, for example, uses EVA with a rubber outsole; Icarus combines PU and rubber. In models with COMFORTSTEP and SAFESTEP, the footbed and penetration-resistant layer are also separate components. Read about sole construction or explore the full Herock work footwear.
