    This is how we print your work clothes

    The most common technique for printing is screen printing transfers. You can easily and quickly add a print or embroidery to suitable items after selecting a color and size. After this, you can easily and quickly follow the step-by-step plan to add the print to your order. This way you add the desired logos in the correct locations.

    After placing an order, we always send a proof for approval. Once this has been approved, we print the screen printing transfers and place them at the desired locations using a transfer press under high temperature and pressure.

    What types of workwear can be printed?

    Almost all work clothing can be printed on the chest, sleeve and back. The fabric of this does not matter, for example: polyester, polyamide or cotton can all be printed. There are various exceptions such as fleece and softshell jackets, for both we advise to choose embroidery. With softshell jackets there are exceptions that can be printed. We do this at the standard locations that you also see when adding the printing of the product. If there are other wishes, you can easily request a quote via the product page.

    What is the difference between printing and embroidery on workwear?

    The main difference between printing workwear and embroidering workwear is the technique and the look. Where printing workwear often offers a modern look, embroidery often gives a classic look.

    For washability, modern prints are better than before and can often be washed up to 50 degrees Celsius, for larger quantities there is also an option for boil-washable logos. We recommend these especially in locations where a lot of oil, grease or dirt is involved. Embroidery can actually always be washed at the temperature at which the clothing can be washed.

    Frequently asked questions about printing workwear

    • Which work clothes are deductible? The Tax Authorities have drawn up rules to determine when clothing is deductible, read more about this in our blog about this
    • How big should a logo on workwear be? For the tax authorities, the surface of the logos measured in width and length must be 75 cm² to be tax deductible. We use a width of 12 cm or a height of 15 cm on the chest and a maximum width of 25 cm on the back. This usually gives you the minimum dimensions to be tax deductible.
    • What file types are accepted? We can work with .jpg and .png files, but our advice is to always supply a vectorized .ai, .pdf or .eps, these files are most suitable for this.
    • What is the best way to have work sweaters printed? In our opinion, it is via screen printing transfers. This is also the method we use for most orders and you can easily and quickly add this on our website for most products
    • How long does it take for my order to be ready? This partly depends on the brands that are ordered, usually if the proof is approved we can print and send the clothing within 1 to 2 working days after receipt.
    • Can I have small quantities printed? Yes, at Unishore Workwear printing and embroidery is possible from one piece.
