Why catering work shoes?
As a catering employee you walk all day. It is important to receive the right support, so that you do not develop health problems from walking at work. Wearing the right work shoes is an important part of this. By choosing a good catering work shoe you will be optimally protected and you can walk around all day without worries.
What to look for when buying catering work shoes?
A catering work shoe is different from a regular work shoe. For example, the appearance of the shoe is much more important. In addition, it also makes a difference whether you work in the kitchen or in the service. The work here is different and therefore requires different types of work shoes.
Catering work shoes in the kitchen
As an employee in the kitchen you have to deal with various matters. The environment is often damp and gets dirty quickly. Think of sauce falling on the floor or water on the floor. A non-slip work shoe is therefore a must as an employee in the kitchen. In addition, the correct safety standards must also be considered and the shoe must be easy to clean. In addition, Unishore Workwear offers filters for, for example, oil-resistant and heat-resistant work shoes.
Work boots in the service
In service, you may walk the longest distances of all colleagues in the company. Comfort is therefore number one. You must also look presentable. The clothing and shoes of the staff must also match the atmosphere of the catering establishment. Because you walk a lot, it is also important that you have good grip on slippery floors. Especially if you occasionally walk into the kitchen to pick up meals for your guests. Service employees also regularly wear leather work shoes or breathable work shoes.
