Which Buckbootz work shoes suit your work?
The fastening largely determines how you use the shoe. A slip-on is handy if you regularly take your shoes on and off. Laces let you adjust the fit over the instep. A combination of laces and a side zip offers both options. A low-cut model leaves more space around your ankle; a high-cut shoe extends further up the foot.
| What are you looking for? | Model to consider | Practical difference |
|---|---|---|
| A sturdy leather slip-on | Buckshot BSH006 S3 | Crazy horse leather, a steel safety toe cap and a reinforced heel area. |
| A waterproof slip-on with metal-free protection | Buckshot BSH015OK S7S | Oil kip leather, elastic side panels and a metal-free safety toe cap and midsole. |
| Laces and easy entry | Tradez Blastz S7S | High-cut waterproof lace-up with a YKK zip, metal-free construction and ESD certification. |
| A low-cut shoe with a dial fastening | Tradez Wheelz Low S1PS | Textile upper with a Fitgo dial fastening to tighten the lacing system. |
Waterproof or water-repellent?
If you regularly work outdoors in wet conditions, the waterproof Tradez Blastz S7S and Buckshot BSH015OK S7S are options to consider. WR forms part of these models' safety classification: the waterproofness of the complete shoe has been tested. An S3 or S3S designation alone covers, among other things, the water-repellent upper and does not automatically make a shoe fully waterproof.
For a dry workplace, the Tradez Wheelz with a textile upper and S1PS classification offers another option. This lets you choose according to your working conditions rather than just the shoe's appearance.
Protection and outsole by model
Buckbootz offers both shoes with a steel safety toe cap and metal-free versions. The BSH006 has a steel toe cap; the Blastz is completely metal-free. The BSH015OK has a metal-free safety toe cap and penetration-resistant midsole. These differences therefore remain important even within one brand.
The outsoles also differ. The Buckshot BSH015OK has a non-marking sole with ladder grip (LG) and resistance to hot contact (HRO). The Tradez Blastz has a non-marking outsole with SR slip resistance and FO fuel resistance. Non-marking is useful on finished indoor floors because the sole does not leave marks.
