Choosing a Tricorp polo: regular or slim fit?
Would you like to offer different fits within your company? The Tricorp 201018 polo has a straight regular fit. The 201020 polo is the slim-fit version. Both are made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester and are sold as washable at 60°C. The main difference here is therefore how the polo fits, rather than a choice between cotton and polyester.
First choose the fit you feel comfortable working in. We then agree on the position and size of the embroidery. This allows the same company name to appear on different models. See the other Tricorp polos.
A sweatshirt jacket or fleece jacket: two different extra layers
The Tricorp 301017 sweatshirt jacket is a full-zip jacket made from 70% cotton and 30% polyester, with a fabric weight of 280 g/m². The 301002 fleece jacket is made from 100% polyester fleece weighing 320 g/m². These are two different fabrics: a sweatshirt jacket with a brushed inside is not the same as a jacket with a fluffy fleece outer surface.
Embroidery is a particularly practical choice for fleece. We do not print on fleece because the heat press can flatten the fibres. On a jacket, we also consider the position of the zip, pockets and seams to find a suitable place for the company logo. If you want to wear the jacket open or closed while on the move, a full-length zip is a useful detail to look for.
Redefined Bicolor: the same style, different versions
Would you like your company colours to be reflected in the clothing too? The Tricorp Redefined Bicolor range includes the 206106 polo and the 206108 women's polo. Both have a two-tone design and a piqué fabric made from 50% organic cotton and 50% recycled polyester, with a fabric weight of 210 g/m².
This lets you compare different versions within the same range. When choosing the embroidery colour, consider the garment panel where the logo will go: the same thread can look different against a light background than against a dark one. We also take colour transitions and seams into account when deciding on the position.
What do the washing instructions mean for your embroidery?
A washability rating applies to the specific garment model. The fact that the 201018, 201020 and 301017 are sold as washable at 60°C does not automatically make this the right wash programme for every personalised version. For clothing with a logo, follow both the garment label and the care instructions for the embroidery. Please tell us in advance if you use a different or industrial washing process.
Your company logo, legible in embroidery thread
A short company name needs a different approach from a logo with a small tagline or many fine details. We adapt the size to the lettering, fabric and chosen position. The best position may therefore differ between a two-tone polo, a fleece jacket and a jacket with a chest pocket.
