RWS work clothing

RWS (Rijkswaterstaat) work clothing is special work clothing worn by road workers on national highways, railway workers, and professionals who carry out work for Rijkswaterstaat. RWS work clothing must meet a number of conditions in order to be worn in accordance with the guidelines of Rijkswaterstaat. Since July 1, 2019, yellow RWS clothing has been prohibited for roadside or rail use. They are required to wear fluorescent orange.

High Visibility

The workwear within this collection meets the requirements for clothing that aims to visually emphasize the presence of the user. This is to make you more noticeable in dangerous situations, both day and night. The standards can be divided into three different classes:

1st Class- to be used in situations with low collision risk and low accident risk. Provides extra visibility within the company. Not suitable for work along public roads.

Class 2- suitable for working along public roads at a maximum speed of 50 km/hour. Used by road construction personnel, courier services and when working in dim light.

Class 3- mandatory when working in the dark. Suitable for work situations with speeds of >90 km/h.
