Safety lines and safety hooks for every situation
A safety line - also called a fall line - is used when working at heights such as on roofs or scaffolding. Fall protection in these work situations is indispensable. A safety line is designed to prevent and slow down a possible fall, reducing the impact on the body. Safety lines have an integrated damper, are often offered in combination with a line clamp and are available with 1 or 2 hooks. Fall lines and safety hooks are the two most common fall protection systems. A safety line prevents a user from falling; the length of the line is shorter than the distance to the fall hazard. With a fall arrest system a user can fall, but the fall is stopped.
