Redbrick reinforces its pioneering role with the Redbrick Motion collection

Redbrick did not become a so-called one-day fly after an unprecedented rise. The now immensely popular brand launched its latest collection, the Redbrick Motion collection, and once again showed that they are way ahead of their time. These and other ultra lightweight work shoes are super trendy and sporty and look more like sports shoes than work shoes. Who would have thought you could look so sporty while working?

The unprecedented rise of Redbrick

Redbrick turned the world of safety shoes upside down by launching work shoes that look like trendy sneakers. Previously, work shoes usually looked bulky and sometimes even a bit clumsy, but with the arrival of Redbrick's work sneakers, this was a thing of the past and Redbrick has started a true revolution in the world of work shoes.

Super light materials and great comfort

The Redbrick Motion collection excels in its comfortable fit due to the use of the finely woven upper and the ultra-light materials with which these sporty safety shoes are made. The lightweight toes are made of aluminum for protection against falling objects. All shoes from the Motion collection have a non-slip profile to protect you against slipping and a lightweight Kevlar midsole instead of a metal midsole that can make a work shoe very heavy.

Safety classes Redbrick Motion

All safety shoes from Redbrick's Motion collection meet a safety standard; they all have anti-static properties, a safety toe, anti-slip, an impermeable sole, a closed and energy-absorbing heel and a fire-resistant sole. The Redbrick Comet is the only one in this collection that meets the S3 standard for work shoes. All other shoes in the collection meet the S1P standard. The only difference between S1P and S3 is that an S3 work shoe is not permeable to water for 60 minutes and an S1P work shoe is permeable to water. S1P work shoes are therefore not suitable for professions where you run the risk of getting wet. The S3 variants also have a Slip-on sock for putting on and taking off, read more below.

Slip-on sock for putting on and taking off

A new feature of the Motion S3 line is the slip-on sock, which provides more comfort and a perfect fit. Because the slip-on sock fits perfectly around the foot, the work shoe will not cause a pinching feeling after a long day of walking and standing. The perfect fit also ensures that dirt enters the shoe less easily.

An important feature of the slip-on sock is the ease with which the shoe can be removed. The tab on the front and back of the shoe makes putting on and taking off even easier.

Innovative materials for the upper

The materials used for the uppers of the work shoes from the Redbrick Motion collection are unique and partly responsible for the absolute wearing comfort of these sporty work shoes. 4 different lightweight materials are used for the upper part:

• Knit:The woven lightweight upper part of these sporty shoes enclose the foot and offer a lot of stretch. The material is also very strong and protects your feet. Partly thanks to this ultra-light material, these work shoes are so lightweight.
• Motionprene®: This material feels like a second skin on the foot and gives you optimal freedom of movement. The microfiber core technology ensures that the Motionprene® material lasts a long time, even with prolonged and intensive use.
• Microfiber: Partly due to the use of Microfiber, these sporty safety shoes are easy to keep clean and they have breathable properties.
• KPU: KPU has a high degree of flexibility and also has wear-resistant properties. The material can be used under all kinds of conditions while maintaining quality and durability.
