Professional rainwear from Tricorp
Hardworking professionals deserve the best rain gear. It is therefore important that the wearer is protected as best as possible against the rain and that the wearer loses as little productivity as possible. The Premium, Workwear and Casual label therefore offers various rainwear, all EN343:2003 + A1:2007 certified. This means that this clothing offers protection against weather influences in the form of rain, fog and wet snow.
Professional use of rainwear requires that it meets the European standard EN 343:2003+A1:2007. The clothing has been tested for water resistance but also for water vapor resistance. The top number (x) next to the EN 343 icon indicates the water resistance class. The highest achievable class is 3. In that case, the water resistance in original condition and after-treatment is at least 1300mm. The bottom number (y) next to the EN 343 icon indicates the water vapor resistance class. The highest class is 3. In that case the water vapor resistance is less than 20m2 Pa/W.
Tips for using rain gear
- Always wear your rain gear completely closed to ensure you stay dry.
- Under no circumstances should you damage or puncture the outer layer of your rain gear. Embroidering rainwear is therefore not allowed.
- Due to wear and tear from use and cleaning, the protection against rain may decrease over time. Therefore, if in doubt, always contact your safety expert.
- Only have damage to your rainwear repaired by an expert or replace your clothing.
