The main difference between Portwest Bizflame and Portwest Bizweld is in the specific standards of the clothing. The Portwest Bizweld collection has been specially developed as welding clothing and therefore meets the associated standards; the welding standard EN 11611. This can also be seen from the word “weld” in the name, the English word for welding. Bizweld work clothing protects you against splashes of molten metal. These will not burn through the Bizweld 330g fabric. Because the splashes remain on the outside of the overalls, your skin is well protected. Portwest developed this fabric completely itself.
