Fleece articles offer maintenance -friendly, versatile protection against the cold. The special thing is that the synthetic fibers do not absorb moisture and weigh much less than wool, but the fleece fibers areolate better. Fleece is extremely durable, easy to wash, dries quickly and it hardly stretches and hardly shrinks. Fleece is extremely comfortable and is therefore common in body warmers, cardigans, sweaters and jackets, but it is not windproof and is therefore widely used as a intermediate layer. Some items of clothing made from Fleece also meet the EN14058 or EN342 standard for protection against cool, cold and low temperatures.
