Your own logo on Blåkläder polos, sweatshirts and fleece
A company name on the chest of a polo stands out when you are talking to a customer. On a sweatshirt or fleece jacket, your logo stays visible when you need an extra layer. Embroidery thread gives the design a raised texture: a different look from a flat print.
Embroidery starts with the combination of logo and garment. A compact symbol calls for a different approach from a long company name with a small line of text underneath. When converting the design into an embroidery file, we coordinate the details, size and placement. This gives your company logo a clear place alongside the recognisable Blåkläder look.
Blåkläder collections for your own company logo
UNITE brings together clothing in coordinated colour combinations for a recognisable team look. If you search by garment type, Blåkläder also has extensive collections of polos, jumpers and sweatshirts, and fleece. These categories sit alongside the UNITE line: a UNITE polo, for example, may also appear in the polo collection.
| Collection | What is this collection about? | A company logo on these garments |
| Blåkläder UNITE Your Team | A consistent team look with coordinated colour combinations. | Your own logo adds a recognisable element to your shared company colours. |
| Blåkläder polos | Polo shirts with a collar for a smart appearance at work and when meeting customers. | An embroidered company name or compact chest logo suits the character of a work polo. |
| Blåkläder jumpers and sweatshirts | Sweatshirts, hoodies and zip-up tops as an extra layer for the working day. | The company logo stays visible when a sweatshirt or zip-up top is worn over other clothing. |
| Blåkläder fleece | Fleece as a warm, soft layer, worn on its own or under a jacket. | Embroidery applies the logo with thread, without flattening the fleece under a heat press. |
UNITE offers coordinated colours for a complete team outfit. The collections by garment type highlight the differences between a polo, a sweatshirt and a fleece. The logo and chosen fabric together determine how the embroidery is produced.
Embroidering fleece, printing waterproof jackets
For fleece, we choose embroidery. A heat press can flatten the fibres of the fabric, which is why we do not print on fleece at Unishore. An embroidered logo is applied with thread, without pressing a print area onto the fleece.
A waterproof membrane calls for a different approach. An embroidery needle can pierce that membrane. This is why we generally advise against embroidery on garments with a waterproof membrane. A suitable print offers an alternative without needle holes. Even within one brand, the technique therefore depends on how the garment is constructed.
An embroidered chest logo or a print?
Embroidery suits a logo when the texture of the thread can be part of the look. For T-shirts, we recommend printing. A print can also be a better fit for a large design, fine details or colour gradients. Both techniques have their place in the Blåkläder range.
Frequently asked questions about Blåkläder embroidery
Can I have a single Blåkläder polo embroidered?
Yes. Unishore Workwear offers embroidery from just one garment. You can therefore order a single polo or a small addition to your existing workwear.
Why do you embroider fleece instead of printing it?
When printing, the heat press can flatten the fibres of the fleece. This is why we apply company logos to fleece with embroidery thread.
Can a small logo with text be embroidered?
A small logo can be embroidered if the shapes and letters have enough space. When creating the embroidery file, we adjust the details and size to suit the fabric and keep the design legible.
